At Enthusiast Gaming, we are building the world’s largest platform for gamers and esports fans. To assist in our journey, we are looking for a Head of Luminosity, Esports & Gaming, to advance our competitive gaming business.

The successful candidate will have a track record of leading gaming content businesses that intersect with esports, video creators, talent managers, and live-streamers.

Reporting to the CEO, this role will work across the company to continue Luminosity’s trajectory toward a world-class competitive gaming brand by integrating Luminosity into a host of content, sales, and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Luminosity’s day-to-day operations with talent managers, content producers, and pro players
  • Team with sales to execute brand deliverables on YouTube and in conjunction with pro players and gaming influencers
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility of the Luminosity brand
  • Support player recruitment efforts through contract negotiation
  • Determine Luminosity’s gaming content strategy with pro players and gaming personalities
  • Team with the VP of Content to connect Luminosity with owned and operated content initiatives, as well as additional executives to advance strategic priorities
  • Set, lead, and track toward aggressive growth goals that position Luminosity as the leader in esports business operations
  • Stay up to date on gaming trends, team monetization developments, and emerging opportunities for brand growth

Ideal Candidate

  • 4+ years of people management in a gaming or esports related role
  • Demonstrated history of contract negotiation with pro players and influencers
  • Proven ability to utilize data in decision making
  • Deep knowledge of social video platforms, such as YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, TikTok and more
  • Advanced understanding of the esports space, as well as the ever changing competitive landscape
  • Ability to both devise, communicate, execute and report on high-level strategy
