We are currently seeking a Digital Advertising Operations Manager to join our fast-growing team who can help us make better sense of our data, and lead experiments to grow our monetization platform and user base.

Reporting to the Director of Media Planning and Ad Operations, the Ad Operations Manager deals with our clients and vendors directly, performing day-to-day management of our various revenue streams. Due to the nature of the role, having a strong understanding of publisher needs, a knowledge of current and emerging advertising products (involving ad serving, header bidding, user data, etc.), and a tight grasp on monetization strategies will be the keys to your success. You will work with Ad Operations Analysts, Engineers, and Data Scientists to help solve issues and optimize our publisher’s ad stacks.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Direct Campaign Management: Responsible for creative testing and implementation of assigned direct campaigns by collaborating with clients, technical teams, editorial, creative, marketing and sales as necessary. Ensure direct ad campaigns meet delivery and KPI guidelines.
  • Programmatic Revenue Management: In charge of assigned programmatic deal creation and reporting of programmatic revenue.
  • Technological Troubleshooting and Enhancements: Troubleshoot and reconcile third party impression discrepancies, and investigate new ad technologies and network enhancements (targeting options, cost reduction etc.).
  • Optimization: Work with tech and design teams to resolve creative and inventory issues.
  • Reporting: Provide campaign performance reports and financial data to internal/external clients as required.
  • Communication: Meet and coordinate with vendors, creative and tech team as required.

Education & Experience:

  • 3+ years of Ad Operations experience, preferably on the publisher-side
  • 2+ years of experience with Google Ad Manager or similar ad servers
  • Knowledgeable of vendors in the ad tech space
  • Comfortable with Google Products and working in CRM systems
  • Experience working at fast-paced start-ups
  • Understanding of the Ad Tech terminology

  • Posses the patience to manage and help fix complex issues that require numerous iterations through Beta testing
