Seeking a highly motivated player coach to add to our growing US media sales and partnership team based in the Chicago/Central region. We’re looking for a passionate person with extensive knowledge of the media & sponsorship landscape, in addition to a basic understanding of gaming and esports. A skilled and strategic mind for new ideas and solutions should be at the forefront of expertise. Both savvy at relationship building and deeply connected with the buying community (agencies and clients). Finally, we are looking for someone with managerial experience who knows how to get the best out of the sellers they manage.


  • Drive sales for digital media, custom content, creator activations, metaverse integrations, esports sponsorships/events, programmatic direct campaigns, and PMP’s, while meeting and exceeding all sales targets
  • Manage 1-2 AE/SDs. The Managing Director will be responsible for their day to day, training them to become better sellers, and giving them as much support as they need in order to close business and hit their targets.
  • As a player coach, The Managing Director will have a list of strategic accounts they call on themselves. We are looking for someone with experience and relationships with the biggest accounts in the world.
  • Focus on media agencies and clients direct in the Midwest/central region of the United States
  • Work directly with brand marketers and CMO’s to craft custom programs.
  • Create a strategic plan for prospecting new leads and gaining proactive proposals across both endemic gaming partners and fortune 500 companies
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs in a quality and timely manner
  • Maintain a collaborative and creative approach with internal teams to develop new solutions tied to client success metrics
  • Work hand in hand with our growing Account Management and Sales Marketing teams to shape the business from a client services perspective
  • Have a finger on the pulse of the industry and stay ahead of marketing, media, and gaming trends

Skills Necessary:

  • 6+ years of experience in sponsorships/brand partnerships media ad-sales
  • 1+ years of sales managerial experience
  • A cursory knowledge of the Direct and Programmatic marketplace is highly desired
  • Experience in selling digital media and brand integrations
  • Have a significant rolodex of key brand direct contacts
  • A hunter’s mentality where prospecting is a daily behavior
  • A self-starter who thrives in fun and result-oriented work environment, is passionate about problem solving and enjoys working on a wide variety of projects
  • A strong understanding of the advertising and gaming eco-system
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple overlapping projects and schedules
  • Must be a team player! Willing to go the extra mile to succeed
